First, she spent it with us…

We've had this homemade pizza thing going on for a while now.

It was no surprise that come Valentine's Day aka Love Day (as we've adapted saying it this year) we made a heart shaped Veggie pizza. Our little lady Chef had a fun experience and we thoroughly enjoyed watching her make it too.

Ingredients in case you're wondering:

Dough...duh lol

Trader' Joe's Marinara

Baby Spinach

Red + Green Peppers

Cherry Tomatoes

Red Onion

Trader' Joe's Everything Seasoning

Italian Seasoning

Trader' Joe's EVO

I think the funnest part about making pizza at home is experimenting with different toppings. We've yet to be disappointed with any of our choices. I will say that for us the most important notes for a good pizza is fresh dough and a good pizza stone. We bought ours at a local Corningware store where we used to live in Astoria, NY.

*Found a good deal on one. See ‘Products Mentioned” below.

In reality, the pizza was really for her to enjoy and then save for lunch the next day, because my Husband had to do his homemade traditional surf and turf dinner, which btw was superb! I hope it's a tradition she'll carry on one day.

Btw, have you tried this with your family?

Then, she spent it with her friends…

Our first visit to a farm was here at Muscoot Farm. It's now turning into one of those go once a month places to meet. It's such a nice drive out too! This day was so special because it was around Valentine's Day or Love Day, as we've also acquired calling it. We stepped in so many slushy/icy puddles and Frankie exchanged her first Love Day cards with her buddies.

Precious, precious moments.

If you're in or around the Hudson Valley, we totally recommend checking it out with your little one(s). They have a cool red tractor that is all these rave for the children. You'll see sheep, pigs, beautiful cows and horses, goats, yaks, ducks, and there's probably more. Just, please beware of the turkeys...they will bite. We've witnessed first-hand and let me tell you, my brain is scarred. Be safe. Hope these tips are helpful.
